Accessibility is not only favourable in online applications, but also required by law. The Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission ("HREOC") under section(1)(k) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 works with guidelines and recommendations with the purpose to avoid discrimination. Availability of information does not only provide equal access for people with disabilities, but also provide information access more broadly, more cheaply and more quickly. At Equal Technologies we support HREOC's work and we comply to W3C Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as well as American Section 508 standards for accessibility.
